Kitties in a box and a CT Call

I am just about to nip to the supermarket and do some late night shopping...yuk! Yes its late here so perhaps it will be quiet, I might enjoy it...NOT!! But we gotta eat and it's been an other busy day, so I gotta go! Before I do I thought I would leave you a little something and let you know about my CT Call. I also want to wish Kat a get well message, she was in an accident last weekend and is now in hospital with a shattered leg. Kat hope everything goes well with the surgery on Friday. Get well soon!!

OK now the CT Call. If your looking to join a CT Team to have some fun then you may be in the right place. I am looking for some fun ladies to join my team. As a team member you would get a choice of two kits per month from my store, you would need to be able to make the commitment for 3 months to do 2 layouts a month and post them to the gallery at Scrappin Digi Kreations, Studio Style Designs, Digi Shop Talk and one other of your choice. The something I said I'd leave is Two Kitties in a Box. There they are being brave and looking at the world...little darlings!! I love cats, mind you mine is in the doghouse!! We have this thing going - I sleep, he wakes me. When I say he wakes me he will do what it takes, meow, scratch anything. He is normally shut out of the bedroom but the crafty little minx has managed to open the door. Well, to say he and I are not talking is an understatement!! So cute kitty is not a name I'd use for mine at the moment!! Lol!

A Freebie, a challenge and a Sale!!

Lots of happenings going on this week, freebies, challenges, chats, sales and a new store!!! Exciting...well it is for me!! I have joined a new store Studio Style Designs and I am really excited, well I am now that I have managed to get some stuff uploaded, lol! At the end of the week they are having a HUGE celebration as its the anniversary bash plus a new forum will be ready. As I'm new there I have decided to celebrate early so all this week until next Sunday 18 May inclusive all my store is 50% off!! So drop by and get yourself a bargain. Look out for the new stuff that's going in there at the end of the week too...yes, that will be 50% off too!!
There is news for card makers and crafters too. I have started trying to do some of the freebies in pdf format A4 size to print and cut. I hope it works!!

Today's has been so sunny and warm here..feels like summer!! We had a lovely warm weekend too, which was just what was needed after all the rain we had been having. So feeling in a sunny mood I decided that in addition to today's Monday challenge I would do a freebie. Summer flowers...they had to be called that, lol....are my little gift to you! I hope you like them. I have two links below one is for the summer flowers as pngs for digi scrapper and the other is for the flowers in pdf format A4 for hybrid and card making. People don't always have the software or they do different crafts, so I thought I would try to make it a little easier for them. The pdf has the flowers in two sizes for crafters to print and then cut them out. I hope it works, let me know if you try them!!

The Monday Challenge is "All the Twos"! See how many times you can use two of an item in your layout...they needn't be identical but for example if you use two tags or two flowers. Perhaps two interlocking frames, or the two tags angled and one on top of the other, anyway if it involves two of items from the same category it works for this challenge.
The Rules as usual are simple:
1. The layout can be any size but you must send me a copy or a link to your layout by next Monday 19 May.
2. Please list full credits for all items used then I can post it with the layout.
3. Please let me know if it is OK to post your layout here on the blog...I would hate to upset anyone by posting something they did not want me to.
OK so that's easy and if you play along and send in your layout you will get the Posting Bonus below.

Play Time!! Friday Freebie Papers and Overlays

For the last few weeks my friends from my chats at Scrappin Digi Kreations and I have been working through some tutorials each week and so far we have made some papers, tags and last week we did frames. It's been a lot of fun and each week we have combined our efforts and had a swap of the items that everyone has made and believe me these girls have produced some great stuff!! So with this in mind I have made some basic papers for you and an overlay in two shades of grey for you to play around with and perhaps make some of your own. You can even add texture to the papers as I have left them quite basic so you could play if you wanted to and make them even more interesting or you can start from scratch with the overlays, its up to you. I just hope you have fun with them, that's what it's all about - having fun and sharing!!

Have you noticed...I have an other new blinkie for those who want to snag it. Just right click and save. It's so cute, Scrap Kitten made it for me. Remember those CT girls will be looking out for blinkies...you could just be RAKed!!

Wednesday's little frame is looking good in Bettina's layout!! She has recoloured it to go with her layout and she has done a great job!! The layout is wonderful, I love the clean sharp lines and the feeling of space it gives. I have altered it a little by blanking out the name of the school, just a precaution, so I apologise if the pattern is not quite matching under the date, sorry Bettina not a perfect job!! But its my tampering not Bettina's error!! It's a wonderful reminder of of an other milestone in a little life! Great job!


This week has been an other chaotic one.
