Inspiration

I am inspired!! So many things I have seen recently have been catalysts for the creative flow, not least this wonderful page by Kim over at Kim's Scrappin'.  She chose a wonderful Kit, and used a Miss Lilly photo. The results are breath taking....checkout the little bird on Lilly's shoulder. Thank you so much Kim for this beautiful page!!!!!

Now tell me...who wouldn't be inspired by this?

This post was going to be longer but I am sorry to say that Lilly has been in the wars and I need to get organised as I am almost certain to be making a trip to Oxford in the morning to see how things are going. I'm clearing the decks tonight of tomorrows scheduled work to free up some time.

Yesterday Lilly scalded her foot and I am glad to say that although it is nasty, it could have been worse. It meant another trip to hospital and a very large dressing on her little blistered foot. Her mum says that at the moment she is swinging between trying to hobble on it and wanting picked up. Her poor mum and dad were devastated that they had not seen it coming...but accidents happen even when we're careful. Kids are just so fast!!

So the rest of this post will have to wait until later this week....sorry!!

Have a great day tomorrow and see you soon.

Poor Lily, I hope her little foot heals quickly. Lily's Mom and Dad shouldn't feel too guilty as these things happen. Take care 'Wonder Grannie'

Oh my this is lovely. She did a wonderful job and yes I am inspired.

I so miss having time to just play with my graphics.

Today is going to be stormy and I will most likely lose my signal soon.

Maybe I can get some play time in then.

I just love this entire graphic...it is magical!!

Sorry about Lilly and her accident. Children are so fast and we can't punish ourselves when something happens. Just be greatful that they have their little guardian angels and it's not worst. They do recover very fast, just needed lots of hugs, cuddles and kisses.

Sorry to hear about Lilly's accident. Accidents are a part of childhood, and no matter how careful we parents and grandparents try to be they will still happen from time to time. Sending well wishes to beautiful little Miss Lilly. :) I'm glad that you liked the page, Carena's kit is wonderful for creating scenes, I had a ball playing with it and Lilly's picture.

Oh Wow - thanks for featuring Kim and her awesome layout. I have to totally agree, it really takes some time to view the entire layout and see all the intricate details. Kim has done a fabulous job and it is truely inspirational. I hope Lilly will be ok and that the burn heals well. Thanks for the link and credits for the kit in Kims page. Very kid of you. Hugs and thanks, Carena's Designs.

Wow just took another long look at this and she really did do an incredible job.

I can tube but I don't have the patience to sit and tube all of the images like she did for this piece of work.

It really is amazing!! I hope you are having a good week June!

Gee whiz June, please forgive me. I truly did not see the writing beneath the picture. I was so taken back by the image.

Wow I am so sorry to hear about this. You are so right about children.

I have a 3rd degree burn on my inner thigh. I turned a heater over on myself when I was 3. It was simply an accident and there was no fault, I was one place one minute and then had the heater on my leg the next minute.

I do so hope Lily will be okay. I will be checking in to get an update!!

Hugs for the little one,
Jackie

Gorgeous LO of Lilly in her magic forest.
Kim did a wonderful job, if only she could provide a 'magic' bubble for miss Lilly to play around in! I bet it won't keep her from trying out everything she comes across though and poor Charlotte will have a few grey hairs before long. That's one thing certain in life lol (speaking from experience and 3 boys!)
