Crazy Cats

Today's post is about cats, crazy cats or crazy owners..depending how you look at it. I've got a cat myself, plain old black and white, nothing fancy but cute. I am certainly looking at him in a different light after receiving an email from my friend Su yesterday.

The email was about having your cat painted...you heard right...your cat painted!! Some of the colourful creations cost up to $15,000 and the worst part is they need to be done every 3 months as the cat's fur grows out. Imagine up to $60,000 a year for a colourful cat!! I complain about the basics...and I can just picture my DH face if I told him I had had the cat painted, lol...especially at that price.

Have at look at some of the pictures she sent in the email. What do you think? Can you think of some fantastic design for your moggy?

Some fun designs. :) The cost is a joke, of course, because the cats aren't actually painted. Just their photos are altered.

thanks for part 5 of my little garden kit, all of it is adorable, love it. Even if I had cats, wouldn't do that. Can think of a lot better things to do with my money or maybe I should say with the money that I wished I had.

thank you for todays addition to your kit.
As for the cats, I've seen those pictures before and I can't believe someone would actually pay that kind of money to do that. I would certainly like to be able to afford something like that though...LOL

I can't believe people actually pay for painting there cat. I must admit I liked the plaid one..LOL

June, that is just pure craziness!! I don't think a cat is worth $15,000 every 3 months to be painted!!

I hope you are enjoying your trip :)

LOL The cats are a riot! A friend of mine and I "died" the cat pink and green, once. It was Easter egg colors after the kids were done dying eggs. The cat was white, until my friend and I decided to see how she looked with a color job. It was so funny. Like these, you just don't expect to see a cat looking like anything but a cat. LOL Perish the thought of the price, too.

Thank you for another part of this wonderful kit. I'm about caught up with all. I've been seriously lagging lately. I apologise.

Hope your trip is fantastic!

The pictures came from a book that was published in 2002 (I think) the cats are really just done in photoshop. Can you imagine a cat that would hold still long enough to have that done! I can't even clip my dogs toenails, lol

Michele said...

I don't think any of the cats that i used to have would have stayed still long enough for that. But they do look fun!

I've been without a computer for awhile, so it was quite a treat to see such a fun looking kit from you! Thank you for sharing it!
